Market intelligence
See which funds and indexes are doing better than their market benchmark, and how many share that lead. Compare individual assets, check their price trends, and explore how leadership has changed.Research tool — not investment advice.
Checking source dates…
A universe is a group of tracked markets, such as U.S. stocks or bonds. Its benchmark is the reference fund used for comparison. Choose a period and check the snapshot date before reading the results.
Green means a higher price return than the benchmark; red means a lower return. Amber labels or gray tiles mean the returns are close. Select an asset to see both actual price returns and the difference between them.
Breadth means participation: how many comparable assets beat the benchmark. A few leaders mean narrow participation; many leaders mean broader participation. This counts tracked funds, not individual stocks or market-cap weights. Funds can overlap. Assets with insufficient data are excluded.
Arrows describe the asset’s own price trend, separately from outperformance. Structure identifies themes among the leaders. The monthly timeline reconstructs earlier readings from the currently published price history. It can show how leadership changed; it is not an archived record of what the dashboard displayed then.

Losing less also counts as outperformance: an asset down 4% beats a benchmark down 7% by +3 pp. A green tile can therefore still represent a loss. Price returns exclude dividends and other cash payouts.
Color compares performance with the benchmark. ↑ means the asset’s 20-session average price is above its 50-session average; ↓ means below; → means effectively equal. — means the trend is unavailable. Larger heatmap tiles show larger differences from the benchmark, rather than portfolio weights.
Leaders are above +0.10 pp; laggards are below −0.10 pp. Values between these limits, including the boundaries, are neutral. Labels describe the selected snapshot; they do not predict the next move.
Search by trading symbol (ticker) or asset name. Use Detail view for a sortable list, or select any asset for its returns and dates. On phones, readable asset cards appear automatically. Export CSV saves the filtered view.
All Universes brings every market into one list. Each market keeps its own benchmark and latest available date. Return differences use percentage points (pp); compare the benchmarks and dates before comparing markets.
M means an approximate month-based lookback. The calculation uses trading sessions (market-open days): 1M = 21; 3M = 63; 6M = 126; 9M = 189; 12M = 252. Check the asset details for exact start and end dates. A snapshot is the date the displayed comparison ends.

Values show asset price return minus benchmark price return, in percentage points (pp). Leaders can still lose value when the benchmark falls.
8% asset price return − 6% benchmark price return = +2 pp. Cash distributions are excluded.
Price returns account for verified share splits: PPLT 10-for-1, PALL 5-for-1. Source quotes are preserved.
